These terms describe use of Mulewalk and this website. App Store downloads are also subject to the Apple standard end user license agreement and platform terms. Nothing here limits rights that cannot legally be excluded. Open-source models and components retain their own licenses, available in the app’s Acknowledgments.

Features and use

Mulewalk offers local AI chat, recording and transcription, meeting notes, document reading, editing and exports. Features and compatibility depend on the installed version. Provide only content you have the right to process and comply with applicable requirements when recording, sharing or handling other people’s information.

Memory, storage, temperature, iOS version and material length may limit local processing. Core AI works offline; installation, updates and Apple subscription services require internet access.

AI output and ownership

AI can mishear, misidentify speakers, omit details or generate inaccurate content. Check names, numbers, decisions, references, formatting and other important information before relying on or delivering output. AI does not replace judgment requiring professional qualifications.

You retain the rights you lawfully hold in your content. Using the app does not give us ownership of your recordings, documents or results. We cannot guarantee exclusive intellectual property rights in generated content. You are responsible for checking the rights needed for the material and its intended use.

Free features and subscriptions

The free version includes core local work features. Pro is being prepared for personal writing templates and exporting multiple formats together. Subscriptions are not available yet. Final periods, prices, availability and benefits will be shown in the app before purchase. This website does not charge you.

If you purchase an auto-renewing subscription through Apple, your Apple account is charged. It renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Renewal may be charged within the final 24 hours. Manage or cancel it in iOS Settings → Apple account → Subscriptions. Any trial, offer and renewal price is shown at purchase.

Canceling normally stops future renewals; the paid access period is shown by Apple. Request refunds through Apple’s Report a Problem service. Refunds are subject to Apple policy and applicable law, and are not guaranteed by us. Restoring purchases requires the purchasing Apple account and internet access.

After a subscription expires, local recordings and documents remain available to read, edit and export individually. Features requiring active Pro access are restricted. Deleting the app does not cancel an Apple subscription.

Local data and backups

Keep backups of important work. Uninstalling the app, device failure, clearing data or file operations may make local content unrecoverable. Our servers do not hold this content and cannot restore it. See the privacy policy for data handling details.

Updates and responsibility

We may update the app, fix problems or change unreleased features. Material changes to purchased benefits will be handled under applicable law and Apple requirements. We do not promise an error-free service or suitability for every use. Mandatory consumer protections apply, and legally non-excludable responsibilities remain unaffected.

Contact and disputes

For product, subscription or terms questions, use our support page. We will first try to resolve concerns through communication. Unresolved matters may be taken to a legally competent dispute resolution body. You do not waive statutory complaint, refund or remedy rights. We will update the date and provide required notice for material changes to these terms.
